Whose living in my house?

Like that nursery rhyme we all know soooo well.. 
whose been sitting in my chair?.. 
whose been sleeping in my bed?.. 
whose been eating my porridge?.. 
We have a resident 'chuck.. chuck.. chucker! 
Meet Fred.. 
He's come from Asia.. 
No customs, 
no Immigration,
No paper work,
No Visa,
No packing of suitcases..
Fred just arrived! 


This little Gecko Fred is now a resident..

He enjoys a mosquito or two at night..
He keeps the spiders under control
and last night we heard him speaking to Sally outside! 
chuck. chuck. chuck.. 

Asian House or Barking Gecko - or Hermidactylus frenatus

Snout Vent Length : up to 6cm
Distinguished features - Flattened body, scales under digits broad, most distal divided by a deep cleft along pad. Pale to dark grey, darker pattern can form streaks along body. 
Call; Distinct loud, chuck... chuck.. chuck.. 
Habitat: Restricted virtually to human buildings, often seen running across windows, and ceilings,
Distribution: Introduced from Asia, by freight, to many locations across Australia.
