Black & white OR White & Black...?..

The Metropole Dupois 1901 - still the same wonderful hotel after all these years... and this image is still in vogue as well..

From the locker to the water... imagine going swimming /surfing dressed up like this these days?.. fashion blopses!  No.. give me boardies any day!

Lovely black Citroen.. yes.. these cars are still very much in fashion, even if they are totally old fashioned! I can imagine placing my picnic basket on the back seat, donning my panama hat, and having a glass of bubbly in the country.. am I an old fashioned girl or what?.. or just a romantic at heart?..

Recording the moment.. taking time to capture the memory.. why take pictures in black and white?.. when life is so full of wonderful shades and tones, colors and highlights?...
Taking black and white pictures for me is amazing.. the contrasts full and exciting, the subject stands out better, there's no competing with the elements. yes.. make my favorite pictures are black and white!
