Is it the early bird that catches the worm?!!!....

Lesson from this empty pottery vessel... Up early at the Nam Hai proves a treasure this morning.. a treasure unimaginable! Here like this great big empty pottery pot, my treasure waits for me..   but I had to make an effort to get up early, arise from my very comfy bed.. before anybody else was up! Early bird?.. don't let me be an empty vessel just on show.. always make me useful please..

Lesson from the sun rays.. Dawn just breaking - sun rays make trying to do a dance through the palm trees..shine in spite of what you're given! Shine for all to appreciate your warmth and your light.. shine daily!

Lessons from deserted beach... Nobody on the beach this early, I'm alone with my thoughts, the wind blows any care I had away, and my mood lifts instantly with the peace of the ocean.. the ocean than can never be changed by man! Never be contained, never be tamed. Never moved. Always the same! Never be afraid of facing  yourself, alone! This is where  you find peace within.

Lesson from the palm tree - Let me grow upright like this palm tree, in spite of his surrounds .. nothing has changed him!  Mr  Palm you have remained upright and straight!
Lesson from beach workers... aah, faithful ladies cleaning up the leaves and the litter .. bent low against the wind.. thank you ladies for keeping this beach so beautiful for my walk today.. I appreciate you - remain grateful and appreciative.. never become proud or boastful or arrogant!

Yes all of you.. thank you for getting up even earlier and smiling at me.. taking time to say ' xin chào - Hello'..

Lesson from the beach.. Aah, my treasure.. million and millions of little purest of white/creamy white sea shells washed ashore last night.. gee.. what a treasure each one of you are.  A gift from the Sea.. and to quote from that book by Anne Morrow Lindbergh " woman must come of age by herself - she must find her true center, alone'. - yes, we need each other in life,

"I restore myself.. when I am alone".. Marilyn Monroe 1926
Thank you Nam Hai for my lesson in life - I SO loved and enjoyed my stay my stay here, and  I can't wait to be back again for another walk on this amazing beach..
Thanks for filling me up to overflowing with gratefulness and gratitude.

  1. I love this post. You're right. The early bird does get the worm, or in your case, the shells.
