Vietnam Airlines, the country’s flagship carrier started operating a direct service from London Gatwick to both its capital Hanoi in the north and Ho Chi Minh City (also known as Saigon) in the south. This has cut flight times down to a little over 11 hours! Offering 3 cabins; economy, premium economy and business class. It has something for everybody.
For local flights.. Vietnam airlines offers a whole network of connecting flights throughout Asia, making it the ideal direct carrier for such destinations.
From June 2012, Emirates are to operate a daily service, connecting all of the UK to Ho Chi Minh City in the south.
